Top "Must Haves" from the Account Executives: - High School Diploma or GED - Reg Diag. Cardiac Sonographer (preferred) - Reg Cardiac Sonographer (preferred) - 2 to 3 years of cardiac ultrasound experience required What You Need to Know: - Requires detailed knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and principles of ultrasound. In terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done, this level includes interpretation of data. This staff member must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served. - Ability to push ultrasound equipment throughout hospital for bedside testing. - Performs all types of Echo/Doppler studies on patients referred by physicians, including calculations and documentation of cardiac parameters for inclusion in appropriate report forms. - Maintains and documents communications with physician and nursing units regarding test results. - Assists with employee schedules for staffing to include call as deemed by Supervisor.
