Overview
Required skills & experience: 1.) Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine 2.) Must have BLS 3.) MUST be comfortable covering some critical care 4.) Must Respond to rapid responses for patient panel 5.) MUST be comfortable with central lines What you need to know: - Client is willing to do 50/50 split between day shifts and night shifts, if a provider does not want to do all night shifts. - BC Internal Medicine - NO PALS / ATLS, preferred but not mandatory / ACLS, preferred but not mandatory - New admissions: (5-10/night) - (70-80/week); ALL ADULT, no children; Not a trauma center; 48,000 ER visits per year - eICU and on-call Pulm/CC available - Full specialty back-up support available - Will be required to respond to rapid responses for patient panel - Will not have to respond to code, but is preferred. This is typically picked up by the ER - EMR: Cerner - Credentialing takes: 1-2 weeks. As fast as the provider completes their paperwork Schedule: 7on/7off Monday-Sunday 7pm-7am / 12 hour shifts
