Job title: Internal Medicine OR Family Medicine, MD This is a locum-to-perm opportunity. Test the waters before diving in! Will also entertain candidates looking to work permanently right away. Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered)Requirements: 1.) Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, no more than 3 years out 2.) Must have BLS/CPR or ACLS 3.) Must have DEA 4.) Must have or be willing to attain NM medical license 5.) Must have Controlled Substance Registration Location: NorthWest, NM Position details: 22-24 patient per day Majority of patients will be adults. Might see some children 15 minute consults/follow-ups 70% scheduled 30% walk-ins All bread and butter - cough/colds, physicals, minor suturing Schedule: VERY FLEXIBLE 4/10's are available Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-6pm Call: One Saturday every 6-8 weeks Support staff: Ped's doc, Other FM/IM docs, APPS, RN's, MA's ER: NextGen Bonus: Spanish speaking (not mandatory) Suboxone cert. (not mandatory)
