Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered)Requirements: 1.) Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, no more than 3 years out 2.) Must have BLS/CPR or ACLS 3.) Must have DEA 4.) Must have or be willing to attain NM medical license 5.) Must have Controlled Substance Registration What you need to know: - This is a locum-to-perm opportunity. Will also entertain candidates looking to work permanently right away. Location: SouthEast, NM Position details: 18-24 patient per day Majority of patients will be adults. Might see some children 15 minute consults/follow-ups 70% scheduled 30% walk-ins All bread and butter - cough/colds, physicals, minor suturing Schedule: VERY FLEXIBLE 4/10's are available Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-6pm Call: One Saturday every 6-8 weeks Support staff: You will be the sole physician Working with 4 other APP's ER: NextGen Reporting to: You will be reporting to a DNP. Bonus: Spanish speaking (not mandatory) Suboxone cert. (not mandatory)
