Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered) 1.) Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible, no more than 3 years out 2.) Must have DEA 3.) Must have or be willing to attain NM medical license 4.) Must have Controlled Substance Registration 5.) Must be willing to go locum-to-perm. This is not a straight locum position What you need to know: -This is a locum-to-perm opportunity. This is a locum position with the potential to work permanently, if the provider decides to. Location: NorthWest, NM Position details: 16-18 patient per day All adult 14-17 followups per day @roughly 15 minutes each 1-2 Evals per day @roughly 45 minutes each 70% scheduled 30% walk-ins General Psychiatry Sever Mental Health cases Lots of substance abuse in this region Lots of public intoxication Schedule: VERY FLEXIBLE 4/10's are available Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-6pm Support staff: You will be the only Psychiatrist Working with 2 Psych NP's ER: NextGen Bonus: Spanish speaking (not mandatory) Suboxone cert. (not mandatory)
