Overview

Job Description The financial coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete books and records for The Blanchard Institute. These responsibilities include: maintaining accounts to current follow updates, follow up with patients and insurance companies, verifying insurance benefits, answering correspondence from insurance companies, participating in the overall receivables processes and recommending additional support to the overall success of the department Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) - Bachelor's degree is required - Minimum of 5 years' billing/bookkeeping experience in medical insurance (preferably behavioral health), payroll, processing, accounts receivable - Must be proficient at QuickBooks and MS Office products - Experience in credit and/or collections for a healthcare facility is extremely important What you need to know - This is an opportunity to join a new practice and be a fundamental part of developing and scaling something new and progressive. - This organization exists to provide the kind of family-focused, evidence-based therapy that isn't currently available in the area.
