Job Description Take on a highly engaging, high-visibility project as a Power BI Developer on a Contract basis for our client in Greenwood Village, CO! We are searching for a SQL Server Power BI developer, with deep ServiceNow experience, who will be a key member of the Data Management organization. The focus of this position will be to support the business with providing metrics development services utilizing Microsoft’s Power BI. Automation of data extraction and metrics-dashboard development will be the main focus of this project and role. Responsibilities • Mature data reporting processes by automation with Power BI. • Develop and improve SQL stored procedures. • Collaborate with other teams both within the organization and with business partners and be able to devise the technical solution as it relates to the business & technical requirements. • Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and contribute to the improvement of these best practices. Required skills & experience (the "must haves" to be considered) • 2-3+ years of experience in working with SQL Server, with solid experience developing stored procedures and triggers. • Specific experience developing in Power BI is required with knowledge of ServiceNow. • Analytical mindset capable of analyzing data and producing monthly metrics through data exports from ServiceNow. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred. What you need to know • This role is located in Denver, CO; travel to and from the site will not be reimbursed. • A little remote is offered, but mostly this is an on-site contract. • Contract starts at 3 months. There is an opportunity another 3 month extension for a total of a 6-month contract.
