VMware Horizon View IT Analyst

Overview

Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years experience or 6 years experience. - Prior experience in the healthcare industry is NOT necessary. 2. Development projects and business objectives with focus on the VMware Horizon View suite of products is a MUST - Citrix experience - VMware VCP5 or above certification a big Plus. 3. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) 4. PowerShell Scripting experience is a MUST. 5. Experience on a system with at least 500+ concurrent users. - Implementation of End User Computing What you need to know - This is a 90-day contract-to-hire role with opportunity for full-time work after initial contract. - Local to the Houston, TX area. - Relocation may be considered for the appropriate candidate. - This is a net-new position created due to team growth. You'll be accountable for: - Installs, tests, debugs, customizes and tunes more complex operating system and utility packages. - Develops, prioritizes and executes projects according to established schedules and timeframes. - Follows and enforces technical and documentation standards - Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and techniques in supporting other systems and application programmers in projects and complex problem solving efforts. - Administers VMware Horizon View environment for thousands of concurrent users. - Creates and deploys the desktops for end users.
