Job title: Interventional Pain Medicine Qualifications/Certs: MUST be Board certified through: *preferred* American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Subspecialty: Pain Medicine OR American Board of Anesthesiology - Subspecialty: Pain Medicine OR American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology - Subspecialty: Pain Medicine MUST have an Active Pennsylvania State Medical License MUST have an Active Pennsylvania DEA Residency Trained - PM&R, Anesthesiology or Neurology Fellowship Trained - Pain Medicine/Pain Management Dates of Coverage: July 1 - ongoing: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday) Coverage is 3 weeks on/3 weeks off Specific shifts needed: 7/22 7a -7/26 5p 7/29 7a - 8/2 5p 8/5 7a - 8/9 5p 8/12 7a - 8/16 5p 9/9 7a - 9/13 5p 9/16 7a - 9/20 5p 9/23 7a - 9/27 5p 10/21 7a - 10/25 5p 10/28 7a - 11/1 5p 11/4 7a - 11/8 5p 11/25 7a - 11/29 5p 12/2 7a - 12/6 5p 12/23 7a - 12/27 5p 12/30 7a - 1/3 5p Hours of Operation: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday) Practice Description: ***Must be able to see 15-20 patients/day*** We are a hospital-based outpatient clinic. We provide “outpatient services” listed on general acute-care license issued by the State Department of Public Health. Our patients receive two charges: (1) charge is a “facility fee” (exam room, procedure room, equipment used & nursing skills) the (2) charge is a “professional fee” (fee for procedure that is performed or the office visit with the actual physician). The Physician Group Pain Medicine clinic focuses on the diagnosis and management of chronic pain. We use a multidisciplinary approach to help patients take an active role in managing pain and regarding control of their life. We tailor their pain management to the patient’s specific needs and circumstances.
