Director of Facility Resources

Overview

Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management required. Master degree in health or business preferred. - 3 years of supervisory experience required and 5 years of construction management preferred. - Previous leadership roles reporting to senior management preferred. - Demonstrated teamwork, data and project analysis, presentation abilities and interpersonal skills. - Intermediate computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office applications. What You Need to Know - Manages all threshold and non-threshold construction projects for current and future facilities planning requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers. - Establishes budgets for all construction projects. - Meets with internal customers and external vendors to establish building and campus design. - Manages project workflow and relationships with architects, designers, vendors, and suppliers. - Schedules construction jobs for project completion on time and within budget. - Establishes and executes contracts with construction vendors. - Manages the Facility Services team consisting of the grounds, safety, engineering, and security employees, including the hiring, development, evaluation, discipline, and termination of staff. - Responsible for Joint Commission compliance within the Environment of Care, Life Safety, Safety Management and Emergency Management Sections. - Submits and manages the Facility Services budget and provides oversight and coordination with other facilities.
