Job Title Physical Therapist- Part Time Weekend (Onondaga County) Job Description The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive professional therapy service in accordance with the mission and objectives of the organization. Required Skills and Experience - Currently registered by New York State and the American Physical/Occupational/Speech and Hearing Therapy Association and educational standard board as applicable. - Current New York State Physical Therapy license. - Current New York State driver's license and automobile insurance. - One-year experience as a therapist preferred. What You Need to Know - Provide safe Physical Therapy interventions to clients/families in accordance with agency policies and procedures. - Provide client assessments using best clinical practice. - Develop appropriate plan of care. - Maintain client care records using approved documentation and format. - OASIS documentation is completed within regulatory timeframes. - Manage a diverse client caseload. - Communicate client care issues to interdisciplinary team. - Assume responsibility for supervision of para professionals relevant to patient care plan. - Monitor job performance of home health aides and delivery of home health aide services - Maintain adherence to agency policies and procedures including Corporate Compliance, Ethical Standards, and Confidentiality (HIPAA).
