Overview

*Job location can be in either Charlotte or the Piedmont Triad.* Job Title Director, Training and Development Job Description In this role, you will be working across the organization to ensure that every person on our team is aligned around our organizational mission, vision, and values as well as domain- and job-specific roles, responsibilities and operational capabilities. You are accountable for ensuring each team member is onboarded well, and that this investment is sustained over time through ongoing vocational training as well as diverse learning and developed activities. You will be building for scale, implementing the organization's infrastructure for on-boarding, training, wellness/self-care, supervision, ongoing education, and leadership path for this team, as well as driving the organizational philosophy to ensure continual integration of Hub and Block team members. Critical to all elements of this role is helping us build culture around our core values to sustain a team standard of trust, innovation, celebration of successes, and support. You will drive the overarching strategy around curriculum building, job load-balancing, and wellness/self-care activities, team building, and leadership development, training, and mentorship across the organization as we scale up to train multiple clinics of care team staff simultaneously. This larger infrastructure includes content management tooling, learning management system support, engaging experts in the field, and building out a career ladder for all roles to ensure growth and support over time. This role is a critical cornerstone to ensure that the organization continues to hire impactful, mission-aligned community-based team members to radically improve the health of the neighborhoods we are serving in multiple geographies, across multiple partnerships. Required Skills and Experience - You are a licensed clinician (RN, LPN, LMSW, LCSW, other) with 6+ years’ experience and expertise in providing training and clinical support to large teams. - You have expertise in operations, strategy, and implementation. - You are charismatic, engaging, dynamic, creative, and accessible. - You have the desire to contribute to a learning and evolving model of care, a quickly growing staff in a new/fast-growing organization that spans many communities. - You are an independent self-starter, a leader, and a strategic thinker who is excited about the big picture of whole community health, and the ongoing evaluation and iteration of our care model. - You are excited about how technology can support your work and help drive the ongoing evaluation toward new and better care. (Nice to have) - Experience training or developing curriculum for non-clinical staff, including community health workers or care coordination staff - Experience personally providing clinical care for a similar population - Experience in a technology-enabled healthcare setting - Multi-lingual - Unrestricted North Carolina Driver’s License and car. What You Need to Know - Design and implement a scalable onboarding / initial training curriculum for clinical and non-clinical teams engaging members in community-based settings that is delivered through a mix of modalities and settings (role play, case-based, facilitated, virtual, and didactic) and settings (community, office, retreats, etc.). - Lead continuing education program development. - Develop a leadership training/development program as well as a mentorship program across all partnerships and geographies. - Provide coaching to team members across the organization; ensuring that our goals around ongoing learning and development are achieved. - Support the build and implementation of engagement initiatives for employees across the organization. - Develop and implement a wellness / burnout reduction program, including but not limited to development of rotating administrative and wellness time for all staff members focused on self-care and reduced risk of burnout.
