Required Skills and Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree required, in Accounting preferred. 2. CPA preferred. 3. Proficiency in data management concepts, database structure and business intelligence platforms. 4. Experience in applicable Federal and State reporting and regulatory compliance that meets our organization’s needs. 5. Experience in data analytics for health insurance or managed care and/or government programs. 6. Works well both independently and in a high-producing team environment. A motivated self-starter. Able to work with other departments to foster collaborative relationships that promote corporate compliance. 7. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. What You Need to Know - Internal and external oversight of Federal and State reports for all organizations. - Ensure data reporting, file imports and exports from data warehouse and production applications are achieved in a timely manner. - Oversee the tracking, development, submission and monitoring of data for all regulatory reporting needs of the organization. - Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state laws including developments in Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, CMS, and of legislative and regulatory implications. - Facilitate data analysis and validation as it pertains to Federal and State reporting through departmental oversight and development of analytical, tracking, and data management tools. - Develop and implement repeatable, sustainable, measurable process improvement initiatives to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate applicable audit activities. - Identify process improvements during the measurements process and bring to management’s attention. Perform high level and detailed analyses on current processes and trends that do not support desired results. Suggest alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing measurement and data needs. - Work with application vendors on extracting data and supporting staff on utilizing system reports. - Act as agency expert on data warehouse and data related to production applications. - Supervise and develop 1-2 employees.
