Project Manager - Medical Device

Overview

Required skills & experience (the 7 "must haves" to be considered) 1. At least 4 years as a project manager in a company developing software product(s) for the healthcare industry - Someone who has project managed from a software development company. 2. Exposure to medical device development i.e. a FDA-compliant product 3. Be willing to spend up to 20-50% of your day on ad hoc assignments. In other words, must be comfortable in a startup environment. 4. Ensuring compliant, streamlined SOPs for maximum efficiency 5. Implementing quality management system (i.e. medical device standards) where appropriate 6. Negotiating with vendors 7. Bachelor’s degree in a related field Nice-to-have: - Optometry or ophthalmology experience - Technology background - You already live or are open to moving to Nashville - PMP certification - Lean Six Sigma Certification What you need to know - This is a full-time project management position sitting in Nashville, TN. - Relocation will be considered for the appropriate candidate, but strong preference will be shown for Nashville residents. - Remote is not available at this time. - MUST be comfortable wearing different hats as this is a startup environment. - Equity/stock options will be negotiated in balance with annual salary. - 100% of medical, dental, and vision coverage is provided. - Quarterly performance bonuses are provided as well.
