Job title: Medical Director of Psychiatry Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered) 1.) Must be Board Certified 2.) Must have or be willing to attain a PA medical license 3.) Must have DEA 4.) Must be able to perform as 25% medical director duties and 75% clinical psychiatry. 5.) Must be accountable during credentialing and when traveling Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm FLEXIBLE Call 1:6 Inpatient only, Outpatient only or a mix of both if desired Position details: The Medical Director will be responsible for medical oversight of the psychiatry department. The time split for this position will be 25% medical director duties and 75% clinical psychiatry. Practice located within a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) Current - 34 bed Adult Inpatient Unit, 30 bed Geropsych Unit, 10 bed Child/Adolescent unit Future – major expansion resulting in 48 bed Adult IP, 24 bed C&A, 20 bed addiction, 10 bed high acuity, Psych Urgent Care, 30 bed Geropsych as part of the creation of a dedicated behavioral health hospital Psychiatry Residency Program
