Locum Physician-Emergency Medicine (Freestanding)

Overview

Job Title: Locum Physician- Mountain View Regional Emergency Center: (Freestanding) Job Description: 2-3 Full-time ER providers needed in Las Cruces for American Physician Partners. This location is an 18,000 Annual Volume ER which is affiliated with the main hospital but is a Freestanding Emergency Department. Shift times are 7am-7pm, or 7pm-7am. Providers need to do at least 6 shifts per month to be considered. Shifts are 12 hours long. At the main Campus location, there are 2 docs’ on per day shift. 1 provider (MD) on at night. 10 hours of Alternative (NP/PA) coverage each day (12pm-10am). EMR system used is Medhost. Trauma level 1 ER. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered): Board Certification not required but preferred Must be certified ABEM If BCFP/IM/SURG- must have ATLS certification Preferred ACLS, PALS Active NM License Active NM DEA Must have at least 3 years of ER experience Must consider at least 6 shifts per month starting in August Locums to Permanent will be considered as well What you need to know: The provider must be name cleared through APP, please make sure they have not been presented or worked with American Physician Partners in the past 1 year. The provider must have ER experience, the client will be offering an excellent hourly rate, plus travel (rental/mileage), housing, flights.
