Locum-Hospitalist/ICU Doctor

Overview

Job Title: Hospitalist MD/DO Job Description: Doctor needed in Cookeville, TN. The average daily census is between 18-20 patients per day. They have a total of 5 HOSP Providers during the day and 2 NPs. Full-time Nocturnist for most of the nights, if they get someone full time they prefer 7 on/7 off schedule. They must be able to work in an open ICU and HOSP setting. Procedures are optional for this position. For a provider to be considered they must be able to work 2+ available shifts below and ongoing coverage help. The provider must name clear through APP (American Physician Partners, if they have worked or been presented in the past year they will not be considered) We are still in need of these open night shifts: 6p-6a 2 night shift docs. July 1st both shifts opens July 2nd both shifts opens July 5th July 6th July 7th July 11th- July 13th July 15th Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered): BCIM, BCFP with HOSP experience ACLS,BLS Active TN License Active TN DEA Prefer at least 1 year of experience will consider a new graduate for open shifts Experience preferred but new grads can apply. Must have experience in an ER/HOSP/ICU department. What you need to know: Travel (mileage/rental, lodging, flights) included Ongoing shift coverage Rate is flexible for immediate shift coverage!
