Overview

Required Skills: 1.High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. 2.Experience: Acute: Minimum of two years in any setting with one year of experience in a hospital setting/IV admixture. Population Health Minimum of two years of experience in any setting with one year of experience in a health system setting required. Retail: Minimum of two years in any setting with one year of experience in a retail setting required. 3.Current registry with applicable State Board(s) of Pharmacy w/in 30 days of hire. PTCB cert w/in 30 days of hire, or proof of enrollment/FPGEE/FPGEC required. 4.Considerable knowledge of medication names (both trade and generic) and their doses, routes of administration, and adverse effects. 5.Additional skills required: State Registration and/or evidence of renewal is required for both Pharmacists and Technicians fifteen days prior to expiration and Technicians are required to be either certified through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), or have a Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) score >85% (less than 2 years old), or be active in Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) or Foreign Pharmacy Equivalency Certification (FPGEC).
