Locum Emergency Medicine NP/PA

Overview

Required skills & experience (the 7 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Must possess an active license as one of the following: • Nurse Practioner • Physician Assistant 2. Must have SC License and Active SC DEA 3. Must have 1 year direct ER experience as an NP/PA 4. Must have comfortable with PEDS, needs NRP certification to start (can acquire) 5. Experience coordinating with providers, nursing and therapy staff to adjust and monitor patient care plans (Interdisciplinary Teams), ability to work directly with ER doctors 6. Must be able to give 6+ shifts per month, ideally 10-12 for each provider What you need to know • 2 Doctor’s day shift, 1 Doctor night shift, 2 NP/PA shifts (8am-6pm, 4pm-2am) • Will pay all travel cost required (flight,rental/mileage/lodging) • 39,000 Annual Volume, Level 1 Trauma Center • Must be able to see 1-2 patients per hour, team player, work in fast-paced environment.
