Overview
Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) 1.) Must have or being to attain a PA medical license 2.) Must have DEA 3.) Must be Board Certified 4.) Must have BLS, ACLS or similar 5.) Must be accountable during credentialing and when traveling 6.) Preferably someone who has teaching experience, not mandatory Preferably someone who has teaching experience, not mandatory Whenever there are 2 or more residents, the doctor would not see any patients other than those with the resident that is being overseen. There are (rare) occasions when the resident gets way behind, is called away/sick, or there's a patient that needs added for an acute visit, that the supervising physician would need to see a patient.
