Healthcare Actuary

Overview

Required Skills & Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree in finance or related actuarial science/math from an accredited institution 2. ASA or FSA certification 3. Actuarial work experience within a managed care, health insurance organization preferred 4. Advanced Excel skills – create pivot tables, v-lookups, and spreadsheets with formulas 5. 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014 solutions and reporting preferred 6. Advanced SAS or SQL programming/coding experience preferred 7. Experience with Agile development (SAFE or other) What you need to know - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft BI & Tableau - Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications - Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required
