Required Skills & Experience 1. Bachelor's of Nursing - MA license 2. 5-10 years of acute care experience in a Hospital 3. 3+ years of experience working in a leadership role What you need to know • Provides direction to staff to meet the departmental objectives as well as the objectives. Participates in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of departmental goals • Oversee daily operations on the unit. Coordinates departmental workflow with all team members to ensure safe, effective and efficient work processing. • Participates in the formulation and implementation of Performance Improvement initiatives • Requires experience and commitment to the quality of patient care and patient satisfaction. The Director will provide leadership and direction to the ED staff while promoting teamwork in a multidisciplinary care environment. In addition, the director will collaborate with ED physician leadership in order to optimize patient care, satisfaction and ED operations.
