Overview
Required Skills and Experience 1. 2+ years of hospital or MFM office based experience in the performance of specialized maternal fetal sonography detecting fetal anomalies and first trimester NTL and screening scans, BPP, Dopplers ( Multiple vessels), EFW, AFI , Multiples, invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS . 2. Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound school with three years on the job training in a hospital performing specialized maternal fetal sonograms. 3. BLS and NT Certification (If not NT Certified, it must be obtained within 6 months) 4. Registration with ARDMS What You Need to Know - Provides services in a referral Maternal Fetal ultrasound practice. - Will be scanning high risk pregnancies for anatomy screening at 20 weeks, first trimester NTL and screening scans, BPP, Dopplers ( Multiple vessels), EFW, AFI , Multiples, invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS. - Acts as a resource to students, nurses, fellows and other technologists, to ensure optimal department functions. - Mentoring available for procedures that need proficiency developed . - No weekends or on call required
