Overview
Required skills & experience 1. Master’s degree in Business or health administration or a related field or comparable experience. 2. Minimum of ten years of increasingly responsible leadership experience in health care administration with a minimum of five years of experience in direct home health/hospice operations/management/leadership is required. 3. Must possess proven leadership skills, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to the principles and practice of hospice and home health services. 4. Significant management experience in hospice and home care operations with P&L responsibility, business development, and operational and clinical compliance. 5. Working and current knowledge of various State and Federal regulations including Medicare Conditions of Participation for hospice and home health agencies, and state licensing regulations for hospice. 6. Financial and quality acumen for home care and hospice. What you need to know • The Director leads both agencies (Loyola, IL and Fresno, CA) • Organizes and directs the homecare/hospice agency’s ongoing functions in compliance with policy and legal requirements including maintenance of appropriate records, supervision of office personnel, and continuous quality improvement. • Responsible for the planning, direction, management and coordination of agency administration, market development and delivery of quality care to clients. • Ensures an effective participatory management climate within the operations of THAH or agency, with a special emphasis on the selection and development of committed, culturally diverse leaders in management • Hires, orients, and leads qualified management and administrative personnel. Evaluates and motivates personnel by properly implementing the performance evaluation program and salary administration. • Responsible for the development of local operation and capital budgets in collaboration with agency management, integrating agency recommendations for budget needs.
