Required Skills and Experience 1. High School graduate and/or GED 2. Graduate of Accredited Surgical Tech Program required 3. National Certification as a Surgical Tech required 4. The surgical technician has experience with the surgical technician role and various activities of surgical practice. 5. Level 2 Surgical Technician: Required completion of 1 year experience as an Surgical Technician What You Need to Know - The Surgical Technician works under the leadership of the Lead Surgical Technician and reports directly to the Director of Operative Services. - He or she works collaboratively with other members of the perioperative team to provide surgical patients with optimal, safe, cost-effective care. - Consistently creates, maintains, and monitors a sterile field.
