Overview
Must haves to be considered: 1.) Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years - Internal Med/Family Med 2.) Must have or be willing to attain a Pennsylvania medical license 3.) Must have active DEA at time of start date 4.) Must take call coverage 5.) Must commit to a minimum of 3 months assignment Start date: As soon as credentialed Schedule: Monday – Friday Clinical Hours - 8:00am to 4:30pm Call / Weekend Coverage Weekday Call = 2 weeks per month Weekend Call = 2 weekends per month EMR: Outpatient - GE Centricity Inpatient - Cerner Position details: Age - 18 years and older High Volume Aspects of Care Patient Care Patient/Family Education Consultations Minor Procedures Procedures & Treatment Provided: Services Physical exams Preparation for discharge from Specialty Practice Teaching and emotional support of patients and families Consultations Procedures: Joint Injections Joint Aspirations Medications Frequently Used Lidocaine Depo Medrol Kenalog Euflexxa/Synvisc Tuberculin Skin Testing Agents Population/Services Excluded: Patients with emergency care needs. The Practices provide first response emergency care then transport patients to tertiary care center. Credentialing/privileges: process can take 10-14 days if all documentation is completed & references contacted Decision making process: quickly after phone interview with Service Line Director
