Overview
Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered): 1. 5+ years of Director experience in a rehab, long term care or skilled nursing facility. SNF preferred. 2. Need to have discharge planning and case manager experience 3. Must be a registered therapist (OT, PT or SLP) 4. Must have a thorough understanding of the implications of PPS and CPT code billing systems for rehab delivery. 5. Masters Degree in a therapy discipline- Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy What you need to know: • Director of Rehab will lead the rehab staff through provision of direction and training support. • Act as a department head and member of facility management team. • Coordinate all rehab activities and communications. • Serve as a teacher/trainer for caregiver staff regarding rehab issues.
