Required Skills and Experience 1. Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance required Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance is preferred 2. 7 years Healthcare experience, including physician compensation experience in designing and implementing physician compensation models and aligning with health system strategies required 3. High proficiency skills in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; strong critical thinking and analytical skills; excellent communication and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills; maturity to tolerate pressure that may arise in relation to physicians or administration. What You Need to Know Physician Compensation: Direct the preparation of compensation models for 1000+ physicians/providers. Implementation of new models includes detailed production and variance analysis by physician and practice, measuring provider productivity as compared to prior periods and MGMA industry standards. Responsible for calculation of compensation rates per wRVUs, creation of compensation structure for all physician practices and implementation and adoption of physician and mid-level compensation plans. Manage all provider compensation management issues, requiring routine communication with executives and physicians across THPG (Texas Health Physicians Group). Coordinate the agenda and meeting materials for PCC meetings; coordinate necessary prep meetings before the meeting and distribute meeting minutes after the meeting Monitor provider deficits and coordinate with operations to ensure compliance with the deficit monitoring policy Physician Contracting Review all proposed physician contracts prior to PEC meeting Ensure all physician payments are consistent with the contracts Coordinate with THR on the monthly physician EFT payments and ensure payments are aligned with the Agreements with the Facilities Coordinate with operations and legal for any termed providers Decision Support and Data Analytics Supervise the data analytics team Provide monthly provider reporting including compensation, quality, key metrics; develop physician dashboard Continuous improvement of current reporting delivery capabilities utilizing THR BI tools
