Cerner Scheduling Manager

Overview

Required skills & experience (the 4 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Must have technical knowledge of Cerner Scheduling module - Familiarity with EMR scheduling systems and how they integrate. 2. Must have experience managing teams of up to 10 people 3. Six (6) years of industry training and increasingly responsible experience in managing large, complex corporate information systems and activities 4. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field What you need to know - Full-time, on-site role in Houston, TX - There may be relocation available a little later but for now very strong consideration will be shown to local candidates Position Insights - This Cerner Scheduling team has been live since 1997. They will be going live on Cerner's new Java platform in 2020 or 2021-22 - The tech this team supports handles 2-3 million appointments a year in acute (radiology, etc.) and rehab and surgery. - Leads the development, implementation, communication, and promotion of IT strategic plans. - Supervises, trains, and mentors a staff of skilled information systems professionals.
