Overview

Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered) 1. A strategic thinker who has formally developed their analytical skills in prior roles (e.g. M&A, consulting, product management, banking, PE, etc.) 2. A dealmaker who has a formal, demonstrable history of partnerships and transactions (e.g. investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc.) 3. At least 3 years experience engaging or working in or with provider-side healthcare 4. At least 2 years new technology product innovation experience (e.g. startup, intrapreneurship, VC) 5. Bachelor's degree Preferred (not mandatory) skills, experience, and education - MBA - Experience in pediatrics, optometry, or ophthalmology - Experience with digital health What you need to know - This is a full-time, highly strategic role sitting on-site in Nashville, TN - Position reports directly to and works alongside the CEO Example Positional Responsibilities - Chart and execute the organization's growth strategies utilizing a mix of market analysis, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity - Determine which partnerships will have the most leverage for the organization's revenue and product differentiation - Form partnerships that drive a larger value proposition wedge between the organization and its competition, and accelerate our revenue growth - Evaluate new customer/market segments for the organization by analyzing them and executing customer development, not rinse-and-repeat sales - Construct business cases for new initiatives, including strategic rationale and financial models - Identify and evaluate additional product opportunities, and recommend whether to “build or buy” - Source and execute acquisitions/transactions - Prioritize, manage, and strengthen relationships accordingly with large corporates who routinely reach out to us
