Overview

Required skills & experience (the 12 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Minimum 8 years’ experience with application, network and operating system assessments in a medium to large enterprise preferably in a multi-hospital and/or medical center setting 2. Malicious Code (Viruses, Worms, Trojan Horse programs) – expertise in not only how malicious code is propagated through some of the obvious methods (disks, email, programs, etc.) but also how it can propagate through other means such as PostScript, Word macros, MIME, peer-to-peer file sharing, or boot-sector viruses. 3. Familiarity of network Protocols including IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, RARP, TFTP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, and SMTP. Understand how these protocols work, what they are used for, the differences between them, some of the common weaknesses, etc 4. Knowledge of security vulnerabilities/weaknesses - fundamental causes of vulnerabilities through which most attacks are exploited 5. Expert level Knowledge of wireless technologies standards and protocols 6. Proficient with architecture requirements for On-premise and Cloud hosted computing architectures 7. Expert level knowledge of network security architecture including next generation FWs 8. Excellent knowledge of Networking components (routers switches, load balancers, wireless access points, etc.) 9. Excellent knowledge of advanced firewall technologies, mail servers and web servers 10. Understanding of encryption algorithms and ciphers (PKI/ TLS) 11. Bachelor's degree 12. One current, relevant security-related certification What you need to know - This is a full-time, highly strategic, director-level role sitting on-site in Nashville, TN. - This is a director-level role, but due to its technical nature there are no direct reports. - Relocation is available, to be negotiated upon hire/offer. Example Positional Responsibilities - The Information Security Enterprise Architect is responsible for leading the development of Information Security Architectural standards, ensuring technology initiatives are implemented within the framework, and leading technology solution initiatives with the IT Security team. - Ensures that information security policies, multi-year strategies, standards, procedures, and best practices are developed and communicated with IT Security Leadership and Facility Information Security Officers. - Develop and execute data security architecture framework
