Required skills & experience (the 9 “must haves” to be considered) 1. EpicCare Ambulatory Certified along with Training build certification (Epic module certification is required). EpicCare Inpatient Procedure Orders certification is also required or be obtained within the first four months of employment. 2. 2 years of instructional design and delivery experience 3. Experience with online learning tools (e.g., Saba LMS, Adobe Captivate, etc.) 4. Demonstrated oral and written communication and instructional skills 5. Working knowledge of Order Entry, Physician Documentation and Billing/Charge Capture practices. 6. Epic EHR training delivery 7. Large-scale organizational learning initiatives 8. Must be able to develop and deliver various types of instructional materials; such as synchronous learning, pre and post course assessments and performance support literature. 9. Bachelor's degree What you need to know: - Full-time Epic Physician Trainer position located in New York City. Position Responsibilities and Description: This position is responsible for achieving in-depth knowledge of EpicCare Ambulatory and EpicCare Inpatient Orders to support the organization's doctors. The candidate for this role must be able to communicate effectively to end users in a classroom, through webinars, via eLearning, and when providing at-the-elbow support. The Enterprise Application Trainer is an instructional designer role that drives strategic training efforts for management while ensuring the success of training programs and curriculum by collaborating with team members to develop the training program, creating curriculum, and building out training environments. This position will participate in eLearning, QA, and will provide support during implementations. As a Trainer for the Enterprise Epic initiative, this individual will collaborate with appropriate technical and operational leaders from affiliated institutions. Establishes the Credentialed Trainer program in alignment with the Enterprise Learning Program vision, strategy and requirements. Actively participates in the identification, interview process, onboarding, schedule management, and ongoing support & development of all Credentialed Trainers (CTs) under this role’s purview.
