Required skills & experience (the 2 “must haves” to be considered) - High school diploma or GED; strong preference for Bachelor's degree - Minimum 5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience - Must have one current, relevant cybersecurity certification (for example, CISSP). - Experience writing security status reports, including Malware, to provide system status, report potential and actual security violations and provide procedural recommendations. - Experience providing subject matter expertise, technical deliverables, and oversight for strategic cyber projects and initiatives to enhance and improve Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities and maturity. What you need to know - This is a full-time position based in Brentwood, TN; about 10 miles south of downtown Nashville. - These is no relocation assistance offered for this role. Position Summary: The Senior Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for assisting in the evaluation and development of systems security across the enterprise with an emphasis on detecting, responding, and preventing cyber threats. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by maintaining knowledge of industry recognized security technologies and concepts. Responsible for reviewing threat intelligence data from various sources and develop unique automation and correlation processes.
