Overview
Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered) 1.) Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine 2.) Must have BLS 3.) MUST be comfortable covering some critical care 4.) Must Respond to rapid responses for patient panel 5.) MUST be comfortable with central lines Schedule: 7on/7off Monday-Sunday 7am-7pm / 12 hour shifts BC Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Do not need PALS / ATLS, preferred but not mandatory / ACLS, preferred but not mandatory New admissions: (7-12/day) - (75-85/week) ALL ADULT, no children Not a trauma center 48,000 ER visits per year MUST be comfortable covering some critical care. However, eICU and on-call Pulm/CC available Full specialty back-up support available Respond to rapid responses for patient panel Will not have to respond to code, but is preferred. This is typically picked up by the ER Procedures: MUST be comfortable with central lines EMR: Cerner Credentialing takes: 1-2 weeks. As fast as the provider completes their paperwork
