Required skills & experience (the 6 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Must be licensed as a psychiatrist in the state in which they will practice 2. Previous supervisory experience required 3. Experience in providing services in inpatient/outpatient environment 4. Experience working with patients in public mental health, patients with co-occurring chronic substance use and mental health diagnoses, and MAT 5. Must be able to interact with executive staff, medical staff and administrative staff 6. Must complete a satisfactory background investigation What you need to know - This is a full-time position located in Charlotte, NC - Relocation package is offered for appropriate, out-of-state candidates. If you are a Psychiatrist with leadership experience, please consider joining our Charlotte office as Regional Medical Director: · Work with Executive Management (including CEO, COO, CFO, President, SVP of Demand Management, and clinical management including CMO and Director of Psychotherapy) to establish and enforce sound clinical policies, procedures, and practices as they pertain to patient care. · Clinically collaborate with Advanced Practice Nurses across all clinics · Assist in the recruitment and selection of new clinicians · Provide training to staff · Provision of full range of psychiatric services to assigned patients. Services provided include direct care of patients in the clinical setting including: assessment, screening, diagnosis, and treatment. All services provided according to expected standards will be documented in the patient’s medical record. · Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, or other professionals to discuss treatment plans and progress
