MUST HAVES: -Master’s Degree in Nursing (required) -Valid Nevada Nurse Practitioner license (required) -5+ years’ experience as Nurse Practitioner (required) -Demonstrated success in effectively assessing patient needs -Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by compassionate, courteous, cordial, cooperative, and professional interaction with diverse groups of co-workers, external business partners, and the community -Demonstrable proficiency with computers and various software programs; comfortable learning new software, working with databases, and organizing and manipulating data -Strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively apply them in stressful situations -Ability to prioritize decisions and act quickly in the best interest of the patient -Phenomenal communication skills—phone, email, postcards—you talk and people listen -Able to effectively give, receive, and implement constructive criticism -Ability to proactively anticipate and solve problems; you don't wait for someone to tell you to fix something, you already had a plan in place before it even broke -Proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks at once, effectively prioritize in a fast-paced work environment to meet deadlines and schedule time efficiently -Must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to work well without micromanagement WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: We are looking for a professional Nurse Practitioner who can lead practice staff and deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients, both in person and through telemedicine consults. In addition to caring for patients, the Lead Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for advising and coaching responders on appropriate care, communicating with stakeholders including insurance providers, reviewing current patient records to ensure accuracy, and writing and reviewing internal protocols as appropriate. The Lead Nurse Practitioner will also be responsible for leading a small team of part-time Nurse Practitioners. The successful candidate will work as a team with our Responders, other Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, and Chief Medical Officer, and will assist in supporting the delivery of premium care to each and every patient.
