Overview

MUST-HAVES/WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: • 3+ years of Cerner DynDoc, PowerNotes and MPages design and build • Extensive knowledge of physician workflows • Prefer knowledge of CPOE and Powerplan builds • Basic Power Insight report writing • Basic knowledge of Cerner Core Fundamentals – prefmaint and privmaint, positions • Basic knowledge of Discern Rules and CCL/DA2 • Demonstrated experience with design, build, testing, and ongoing support of the assigned solution(s), Cerner experience preferred. • Degree or formal training in an area specific to the assigned solution(s) preferred. • Current California Registered Nursing license or other clinical license/certification preferred JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provides ongoing business and technical support of the assigned solution(s) and serves as the main point of contact to the vendor support teams in communicating, troubleshooting, and resolving issues. • Implements system upgrades, releases, and enhancements. • Provides technical support to assigned departments in implementing new solutions and optimizing existing solutions POSITION SUMMARY: • The Cerner Physician Documentation Analyst is responsible for supporting one or more solutions of a major Cerner implementation and subsequent maintenance and enhancements. • They will leverage their clinical and technical experience in trouble-shooting and resolving solution issues, implementing future solutions upgrades/enhancements, identifying opportunities for system or process optimization, and supporting the implementation of new solutions
