Sr. Software Engineer

Overview

Required skills & experience (the 5 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science related field with 5-10 years' experience, Masters degree in Computer Science related field preferred 2. Recent hands-on programming experience, with strong system design skills 3. Knowledge of various object-oriented programming languages and expert in at least one of the programming languages (C++, Python, preferably Java) and the Java/J2EE platform 4. 3+ years of experience working with cloud (AWS, Google, Azure etc) 5. Experience and understanding of high-performance web scale & real time responses 6. Good understanding & experience working with a large variety of multi-tier architects, being aware of pitfalls, & uses cases for a large variety of solutions 7. Exposure to a variety of large-scale persistent systems including large databases, preferably in-depth knowledge of dealing with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc) 8. Experience using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks 9. Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows) What you need to know 1. Work with Engineering Manager and Product Department to develop software solutions by gathering the user's needs, understanding system flow, data usage & processes, investigating problem areas to create solutions 2. Partner with Product Department to plan & develop patient care management platform, underlying the infrastructure and Technology 3. Document & demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, & clear code, & be able to clearly communicate to stakeholders 4. Prepare & install solutions by determining & designing system specifications, standards & programming
