MUST-HAVES/WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in hospital settings required in one of the following areas: GI Lab, OPTC • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or health care related field required • Valid California Registered Nurse license • Current license with Board of Registered Nursing • Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provides strategic leadership and operational management for the following; Outpatient Treatment Center, and Gastrointestinal Laboratory • Maintains standards for professional practice and regulatory compliance and is responsible for the overall planning, budgeting, staffing, performance, and operation • Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services while maintaining compliance with pertinent laws and regulations. • Assures the hiring of competent staff, provides for proper orientation, relevant continuing education, and competency validation of staff, setting clear performance expectations and customer service standards • Provides leadership in process improvement. • Implements and maintains the quality management system. • Establishes and assures maintenance of quality and efficiency standards POSITION SUMMARY: • Coordinates and assists in strategic and operational planning for areas of responsibility as detailed above. • Participates in the development and implementation of long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the organization around service lines. • Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services while maintaining compliance with pertinent laws and regulations. • Assures the hiring of competent staff, provides for proper orientation, relevant continuing education, and competency validation of staff, setting clear performance expectations and customer service standards. • Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective safety program in the departments. • Assures records are maintained and day-to-day operations conform to all requirements of applicable local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
