Overview

*Client needs role filled ASAP! *Contract term for 3 months, with chance to be contract-to-perm. *Key items for this role: 1) Facilitation of training on new EMR system 2) Help with training creation (Create job aids, video tutorials, Camtasia would be a plus) 3) Healthcare – must understand the lingo 4) Heavy travel though contractual period The Technical (EMR) Trainer will develop, implement and oversee the activities and services of technical training. He or she will provide education to all clinical staff, in accordance with evidence and best practice recommendations, in order to reach and maintain a high level of competence. The Technical (EMR) Trainer promotes excellence in the practice of patient care and serves as an expert and a role model for clinical staff. Position Essential Functions: *Assesses technical education needs of client staff and management through investigation, consultation and evaluation of requests for education programs; assists managers and supervisors in establishing programs; monitors and evaluates educational programs. *Develop educational plans and programs in conjunction with Clinical Operations/Leadership. *Implement and provide oversight to educational programs. Position Requirements: *Healthcare experience required (3+ years) *Registered Nurse degree preferred *Five years’ experience in EMR/technical training. *Leadership, management and supervisory experience required with demonstrated skill in building effective teams and leveraging team member strengths.
