Overview

This position is in Wake Village, TX / Texarkana, AR Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered): 1) Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting and/or finance required 2) CPA (with state certification in Texas OR Arkansas) or MBA required 3) A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible accounting experience 4) Experience in healthcare services, home health, or specialty pharmacy 5) Strong operational experience, ideally with financial sponsor-backed companies 6) Experience identifying, developing, and implementing accounting controls and operational KPIs What you need to know: 1) The Controller will lead financial operations and support growth initiatives for private equity-backed specialty pharmacy with $15M to $30M in revenue. 2) Perform monthly financial statement review and analysis on the company’s operating results. Performs additional ad hoc analyses as necessary. 3) Provide management with accurate and timely information necessary to make strategic and operating decisions. 4) Plan, organize and direct the activities of general accounting and accounts payable teams. 5) Responsible for all monthly, quarterly and year-end closings including the timely reporting of results to the Board of Directors. 6) Drive the evaluation and implementation of value-added business systems and processes. 7) Responsible for engagement and development of the general accounting and accounts payable teams, including, but not limited to, employee training, assignment of clear objectives, and regular performance reviews. 8) Implement adequate internal controls and processes to ensure the accuracy of financial information in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
