REQUIRED LICENSURE(S)/CERTIFICATIONS: • Current California Registered Nursing License (Required) • Basic Life Support Certification (Required) • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (Within six (6) months of assignment to department) • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (Within six (6) months of assignment to department) MUST-HAVES/WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: • Minimum of 1 year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience required. • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California (or ability to obtain) • Must have and maintain current BLS card (Required) • Must have and maintain ACLS Certification or obtain within six (6) months of assignment to department JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/POSITION SUMMARY: • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence if required. • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. • Is responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served. • Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs. • Possesses knowledge of growth and development and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for all patient groups
