Overview
Required skills & experience (the 14 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 2. Minimum 8 years of experience in hands on software development 3. Minimum 2 years of experience of cloud dev (COS, Kubernetes , Docker, …) 4. Prior leadership experience of leading dev squad in an agile environment 5. Development Experience with languages including Java, Javascript, Python, Scala , NodeJS 6. Strong DevOps experience, including Dev Tools experience - Git, Jira etc. 7. Relational database experience (DB2 preferred) 8. Automated testing methodologies 9. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis 10. Comfortable coding and working in Linux /Unix environments 11. Proven verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 12. Development experience in Healthcare industry desired, not required 13. Demonstrated working knowledge of relational databases and SQL 14. Basic knowledge of technologies used in Distributed Database Systems such as Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce, Spark and Kafka What you need to know - This is a long-term (six months-plus) contract position - Must sit in Cleveland
