Overview

Required skills & experience (the 12 “must haves” to be considered) 1. 5+ years of software development experience 2. Architect and implement solutions on AWS Elasticsearch 3. Engineer solutions on AWS based data processing stack 4. Work with business and IT teams to understand and capture search requirements 5. Hands on experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Kinesis, Kinesis Firehose and API Gateway 6. Good understanding of Microservices Architecture especially on the Data ingestion side 7. Experience consuming and build REST APIs 8. Strong Java/Python development skills 9. Strong SQL skills (NoSQL skills preferred) 10. Experience with ETL architecture and using ETL tools 11. Experience writing multithreaded and high performant software 12. Experience with AWS Elastic Search "Nice-to-have" skills and experience - AWS Solution Architect or Developer Certification - Knowledge of provider-sponsored health insurance systems/processes and the Healthcare industry - Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse - Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory - Experience with AWS Elastic Search What you need to know - This is a six-month, contract-to-hire opportunity - There are two total roles available.
