Overview
Required skills & experience (the 12 “must haves” to be considered) 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field. 2. Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in enterprise architectural frameworks, data management tools such as system architect, enterprise architect, and virtualization. 3. Proficiency and experience in establishing the technical direction for architecting large-scale EDW environments 4. Organizes data at the macro level, micro level and data models using existing data models as well as new applications. 5. Strong knowledge of reporting modeling concepts, including dimensional, snowflakes, slowly changing dimensions, and surrogate, compound and intelligent keys. 6. Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment 7. Experience with technical writing, design specification documentation, requirement traceability, risk/issue management or tracking 8. Experience guiding a team of developers on best practices related to data management and enterprise data models 9. Proficiency in enterprise data management as well as experience of relational and object-oriented database technology; SQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, databases a plus. 10. Experience working with end users to gather requirements and build technical solutions from concept to implementation. 11. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills 12. Hands-on experience using data modeling (i.e. ERStudio) and data profiling tools What you need to know - This is a six-month, contract-to-hire position - Minimal remote available: This is a very strategic role - Based in Boston, MA
