Medical Lab Technician

Overview

Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) 1. Associate degree and completion of an accredited MLT/MT program 2. OR the equivalent education and experience that qualifies for national registration through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) 3. One year of clinical laboratory experience in the last five years is preferred 4. National Registration as an MLT(ASCP)CM, MLT(ASCP) or equivalent (e.g. AMT), 5. If not already held, national certification is expected to be obtained within the first six months of employment What you need to know • Performs pretesting and processing samples (Pre-Analytic) • Evaluates and reports patient results for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease for patients of all ages (Post-Analytic) • Super generous PTO with full benefits and 401k with match • Open to new grads • Super friendly work environment
