Database Application Engineer with AWS Aurora

Overview
Required skills & experience (the 8 “must haves” to be considered) 1. 10+ Years of overall industry experience, preferably on Database Architect or Database related skills 2. 5+ years of experience on core AWS services, uses, basic architecture and best practices 3. Strong Knowledge in Aurora databases, AWS RDS, **Postgres** (Absolute must have!), and AWS DMS 4. Ability to write, debug and optimize complex Postgresql queries 5. Experience in managing AWS Aurora upgrades to higher versions 6. Good understanding of performance optimization/Tuning on Aurora SQL Scripts, views and procedures 7. Experience creating roles, database access, performing Vaccum operations 8. Experience in managing point-in-time restore What you need to know - This is a six-month, contract-to-hire opportunity - There are two total roles available. This listing is based in Tampa, FL. Another opening is in New York City.
