Overview
Must haves to be considered: 1.) Must be a certified CRNA 2.) Must have California Medical License 3.) Must be comfortable seeing OB cases as well as OR cases. Start date: As soon as credentialed Credentialing: 30-60 days Work Hours: Client is FLEXIBLE and will look at anyone who is available. Prefer Monday-Friday: 7AM-5PM Open to candidate who can only work one shift per week. Anything works! Scope of work is independently practicing coverage for the OB suite with supplemental support of the needs for the OR and any non-OR sites such as radiology, cath lab and or GI suites. The shift’s primary responsibility will be the OB suite; placement and management of labor analgesia as well as the intraoperative and perioperative management of C-section patients. The OB service, in general is light (See n umbers below) so invariably the expectation will be that the CRNA also will be called upon, when not encumbered on the OB floor, to help in and out of the OR with case management, preoperative assessments of inpatients, and overall workflow optimization. ***This will not be a call position, the CRNA will be expected to be on site for the full duration of the scheduled shift. Per the proforma from business development monthly case volumes are as follows: OR: 329 OB: 37 All charting is done on paper with access to medical data by the use of Cerner. Pyxis Med Stations for pharmacy access and medication reconciliation. All travel and lodging is paid for!
