2/17 Update - Must have Healthcare Experience JOB SUMMARY: Director of Materials Management directly manages the purchasing, receipt and distribution of supplies for clients and lab; and supervises and coordinates the activities of the Supply Distribution team. JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & LICENSURE: • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in inventory control, stock control, or warehouse operations is required. REQUIREMENTS: • Five to ten years of prior job-related experience is required. • One year of supervisory experience in inventory management and stock control is preferred. Provide leadership and supervise/manage assigned department, make decisions, solve problems, develop procedures, and conduct and attend meetings. Manage employee performance by coaching, counseling, motivating, and evaluating employees on a continual basis. Implement disciplinary action as needed and in consultation with Human Resources. Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all Corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies. Provide the appropriate analysis and reports to review purchasing, consumption, replenishment parameters, inventory actual versus forecast, cycle counts, etc. Responsible for on-going functionality of the Purchase Order/Inventory system from an overall organization expectation in coordination with accounting.
