Required skills & experience 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. 2. Master's degree in IT or IS preferred. 3. Seven years' experience in a related field, typically in two subject areas (e.g. financial analysis, planning, health care economics, health care policy, statistical modeling, business decisions, analysis, or business management). 4. Ability to design and develop SharePoint site and use Dundas charts/excel web services, Access, and SAS data sources. 5. 3-4 years' coding experience required with SQL, Tableau, & R. 6. Data Science experience is ideal. What you need to know 1. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Remote options available, however there is a training period of 3+ months that will require a presence in office. 2. Responsible for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data to evaluate issues that support prospective. 4. Needs to have knowledge of health insurance and health care industry in general, more specific about BCBSM business, products and programs. 5. Competitive salary and generous benefits.
